There are many mobile phone makers who are extensively working on the design, look and features of their upcoming latest mobile phones to attract more people and earn more fame. All are competing with each other always working to bring the best one out. As we can say that mobile phones have become an essential part of one's daily life. There are few business tasks that are performed through mobile phones and so they are required to perform multiple functions and updated with the latest technologies.

The day mobile phones were invented, one can find loads of changes that are included. Earlier mobile phones were only restricted to make and receive calls and similarly getting text messages. But, with the advancement in technology we got many new things like camera, polyphonic ringtones, 3D games and Bluetooth connectivity. Nowadays, if we look out for the latest mobile phones we can find they have loads of essential features like the presence of Wi-Fi which enables wireless transfer of data, EDGE and GPRS which allow super fast connectivity to the Internet, the presence of microSD slot helps in expanding the storage area to a larger extent. It not only the applications that have improved but also the phones have changes their looks.

Earlier, handset had a classic model where the display screen was of a small size and the keypads were below the screen. Then came a time when slider phone came where the keypads were sliding down vertically from the screen. Another was clamshell where the screen was half above and the keypads were below in the next half. Latest mobile phones have large sized touch sensitive screen supported with touch technology which ensures that every command is processed. The latest Nokia N97 has a large touch display screen along with QWERTY keyboard which allows users to enter data at a fast pace.

There are various manufacturers of mobile phones like BlackBerry, Samsung, Apple, Nokia, LG, Sony Ericsson. All these have introduced their touchscreen 3G enabled handsets which are introduced in the latest mobile phones category. It is well known that most of the mobile manufacturers are working towards the development of android based phone.

There are various Internet service providers who offer deals and packages which include free gifts along with mobile phones to attract customers. They offer laptops, playstations, LCD TVs, ipods and other useful things to bring the phone in the notice of the people.

Hence we can conclude that the best mobile phone is yet to come and what we are observing now is just a clinch of it. Brands are launching more and more latest mobile phones. It can be hoped that we shall get more handsets with better quality in the coming time.
